How to get over a pet loss?

so our chihuahuas cage broke and we were gonna get it fixed so we left him outside for a few days and it was all fine until they took him away coyotes :'( and i cant stop crying he was my first dog Canelo how i miss him nothing will make me stop crying not even Enrique Iglesias music it just makes me sadder he was 'my little princess' i know i will never forget him but is there a way i cant stop crying a little
