In patch 4.0.1 why cant druids turn from a bird into a cat or bear anymore in World of Warcraft?

one of my favorite things (also very convenient) was to swoop upon the area that i needed, and target something, and on my way down, poof into cat form, land and kill it. since the patch that has been changed, and i was just wondering of there was any significance to it. its just one of the things that they changed that bugs me.
