Is it illegal to "deny" that the jewish holocaust happened in world war two?

Of course, it's illegal to incite violence against jews (or anyone else). But what about ignorant people like Armadinajad who reckon it never happened? Would it be legal to stand up and announce that you hate jews in the United States, or other western countries?
