Help this please?

I took an international trip to Italy in April. Upon arrival I was misguided on how to get to the hotel. Eventually I found my way, but was disappointed to learn the elevator was not working due to a malfunction. After walking up 10 flights of stairs, I was finally able to settle in, and unpack my suitcase.
