It is very well written, and is of good subject matter, but I too think that it ends a little abruptly. I think it needs one more verse perhaps, just to give a little more detail. Maybe not all the way to the nest leaving, in fact, the last 2 lines of the ending verse could be changed, maybe moved down as the ending and just put a little more detail between. Do any of you have a dog who is what my vet calls a "garbage gut"? My GSD can eat anything and it never bothers her.She has stolen and eaten entire pizzas,spoiled garbage,etc.Last Friday she ate an entire pan of spaghetti that was sitting on the stove.It was enough to make three or four servings. Her legs are so long and she is so sneaky that even if you put the food on the very back burner she can still reach it,and she's very,very quiet about it.I usually put food away,but sometimes I forget,and I forgot on Friday.It didn't do a thing to her,though.My cousin's Lab,on the other hand,eats one Mini Wheat and gets explosive diarrhea! Making my own baby food?

My baby is 5 1/2 months old and for the most part can sit up by himself without support. If he is still eating and pooping normally, then maybe the pain he's obviously in is not due to colic but to something else. In either case, this horse really needs to be seen by a vet ASAP. If he makes it through this episode, I would consider getting a new vet. I'd be working part time and taking the bus to and from the area. I'd be getting off work around 10 at night. The bus lets me off at westlake monorail, i walk a block and it's on Pike St, a couple blocks from the Convention Center. I live in the U District and I'm a 21 year old guy, so walking alone at night isn't a huge deal, I just keep my head down and get where I'm going. But downtown may be different, I don't know because I'm new to the area. Should I be worried.

Fortunately there are many great spray paints out there. If you are looking for aluminum because it is lightweight, then I'm afraid you are out of luck. How do I deal with the deployment of a loved one?

My boyfriend and I are both seniors in High School. However, he is in the Army National Guard. About 2 weeks after we graduate, he ships off to BCT (Basic Combat Training) for 4 months. He already got warning orders for his unit to be sent to Afghanistan, but there is only a VERY slight chance that he may not be deployed. Since he is infantry, his unit is more then likely going to be deployed in January 2010 for about a year. If so, what did you do about it? Does anyone think this is a recoverable situation? (P.S. ur baby is just sitting on the nerves down there. unfortunately you can't do much about it. at least thats what i was told. my baby would wedge himself down there and stay there forever! i'd have the sharp pains all day long and it wasn't fun at all. i kept asking the doctor about it and all he said was for me to get down on all fours and wiggle my hips to relieve some of the pressure. i started doing that and he would come off the nerves but would go back shortly after. but in the past few weeks he hasn't been down there hurting me lately. so i'm uming he's found a new position. so i figure you are just going thru the same thing as me. so try doing the all fours thing and trying to wedge your baby out from there and relieve some of the pain. but you sound like you will make it to the 1st as i went weeks with that same pain. :( i know it's not fun at all.

Jet A, and K-1 are not the same exactly, but pretty darn close cousins. jet fuel will probably be more expensive than kerosene, but would burn just fine. Why does my vacuum cleaner have a flap just inside the entry to hose?

My vacuum (hoover bagless) had no suction so I turned it over and found a mess of a clog just behind the beater bar. I took it apart and cleaned it out and found there is a flap just at the beginning of the hose. I pushed it with a screw driver and it does move open but not easily. I have to push pretty hard to get it to move. Does anyone know what function this flap has? Can I remove it somehow or would that ruin my vacuum?

I see this question from both perspectives, yours and that of your teachers. I am a teacher. It sounds to me as if your teacher is a bit strict and a bit burned out. I have kicked students out of cl, but it was for blatant disrespect and I give them 3 times to shape up or ship out and it is usually not for not working but for very loud disruptive behavior. If I think a student is sick, I usually ask them what the problem is and then I say just see what you can do and let me know if you continue to feel bad and I'll send you to the nurse. Or I say I'm sorry you don't feel well, how about you rest now and we will work on it together at recess or you can just try to finish your work despite not feeling well. I would never throw anything at a student and I would never say what is wrong with you. I am the one who sets the example and that is to be a positive and encouraging and empathetic role model. The teacher did wrong, but did you provoke that teacher to become frustrated with you? I have no idea if this is the case, because I was not there. If you feel you were treated unfairly you can talk to the principal or your parent and this teacher will be spoken to about how she runs her clroom. Respect works both ways. Students need to respect their teachers and teachers need to respect their students too.

My boyfriend is mechanical, cold, and indifferent. He wakes up in the morning and gets straight on his computer to play WoW, where he remains all day until he gets too sleepy to stay awake. Bleeding 14 days after my period following a miscarriage?

This is kind of a different Q - and a bit personal. Please bear with me :) I recentley had a miscarriage on May 8th at three months pregnant. I bled for weeks, with no D&C. Finally I had my period on June 16th, and began the countdown to get preggy again :) I usually ovulate on day 18. Hubby & I had a night to ourselves on day 14 ;') And had . Yesterday (day 15) I started spotting blood lightly in the afternoon. Nothing real major, just lightly. I remember when I was pregnant with my son a simular experience happened. I read that it was the egg being fertilized (I think) But I thought it happened later than the day after fertilization. This didn't happen with my 2nd baby that I lost. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think I am preggy already? Or could this be something else?

I was told by my midwife to check on the size of the baby from my pelvic bone to top of the uterus which is just under my is this right (well it is on me) now the important question i havent seen my midwife since 28 weeks pregnant as this is my 4th pregnancy and i know what to look out for. Ready to potty train?

My son is 16 1/2 months old. I have relatives who say he is ready to be potty trained, and others say to wait until he's three. I'm torn between the two. You see, when he poops, he knows he is going to. He stops what he is doing, and either turns his back to everyone, or squats. Then he immediately wants his diaper changed. In the bathtub, he scoots on down by the drain, squats and poops, and then says "bye bye" (like it's actually going to go down the drain). He likes to sit on the toilet, and seems interested. But I just don't think he understands the concept of going on the potty. Anyone have suggestions or been in the same boat? Thanks!

I am a 10th grade student and have been thinking about my future a lot lately. None of my family have ever gone to college, so I would be the first. I'm really excited and nervous about what I'm going to do with my life. My first choice was to major in English-I love english and writing, but I researched it and really the only kind of job you would get is teaching, and I don't think I want to be a teacher. My second, is a nurse. I like helping people and love making them feel better. So how hard is being a nurse exactly? I know they make pretty good money, but how is getting into nursing school? What kind of GPA do you need? And is it a better idea to be an LPN first, then transition to a RN? I'm not sure because if you were a LPN first you would have some experience in a hospital setting, but then I would think it would be easier to just go right for my RN. Another thing, I'm scared I won't have what it takes. Not just school wise but actual performance. I asked the school and all i get in reply is a lot of waffle about spiritual education for the kids ??? what is that all about ?, are they trying to encourage religion in kids or turn them into narcisitic hippies?.I have been told that it is an inclusive meeting and that all the school can participate in whether they are religious or non religious . all I can say is that any time I look R.O. up online its all about religion and mostly presented in a christian style, im not religious as you may have guessed and my kids are not too keen on religion either, but I dont want them to have to sit outside the embly hall like dummies and have them getting talked about by teachers and more importantly by their friends, I would like (if anyone knows) to see some replies as to what actually happens during R.O. . my kids go to a non-denominational school I always thought that should mean no religious practices except for religious education . any and all answers will be appreciated.ps the school is in central scotland.

I just saw an ad where you cam buy a set of decals of your favorite NFL team and paste them all over the side of your truck. The decals are so big it looks like an advertisemnt wrap. Another suggestion to go with that is that you find a good time to discuss it with him, but in person, and away from your friends. I want to glue accent pieces of 1/8” thick cherry wood (small detail type pieces) to the surface of already varnished pine. I am concerned that any adhesive I use will damage the varnished surface. I hate my brothers girlfriend!?

Field hockey is great for those "vertically challenged." (I am too!) But if you have really poor hand-eye coordination it might be tough, as it would be for any sport. Maybe give it a shot despite that?... Also maybe try tennis; you need good stamina for that as well. If all else fails, maybe track? Good luck!

For a sopre, I'd recommend AP Environmental, AP Statistics (provided you will have completed Algebra II), or AP Psychology. I've never taken Psychology or Environmental, but they're considered to be relatively easy. I did take AP Stats as a sopre (along with AP Bio and Human Geography). On the first day of AP Stats, when we got our textbooks, I was intimidated by all the huge formulas, but honestly, it's all calculator work and ysis of results. I think the only reason why Algebra II was a prerequisite was because of the huge formulas.

Braces PLEASE OPEN I NEED HELP!!!?

I have braces got them yesterday. They just put these things in your mouth to make it wider you'll look really funny then the doc. comes in and starts putting on the glue for the brackets to stick. I thought he was just looking at my teeth when he was putting on the brackets but what happens is after the brackets is the bands they are wire and they might burn it but it DOES NOT BURN YOU! Then you can choose you colors to put on it is really easy then your mouth will be sore. It hurts worse the next day so this is day 2 for me you would want to eat soup and try to use your teeth as little as possible. Oh and you HAVE to clean your teeth EVERY day after EACH AND EVERY meal. It is a big responsibility so hope you like having braces sort of.

run a chkdsk on your hdd to see if it can repair any bad sectors. go to MY COMPUTER and right click it, select properties, select the tools tab, you will have three options, try the back up first to see if you can save your music, after, check the disk for errors to see if it can fix them. if that dont work try formatting your hdd, just put your operating system disk in and do a clean install, you dont lose all your data because itll make a new special folder named WINDOWS.OLD, there you will find all your music movies doents. let me know if any of this options work for you

I was back in the 70's[i was born in the 90's]. I knew I was from the future but I was trying to act normal like talk in 70's lingo and stuff. PA I was told the family was originally German but imiigrated to Scotland, built a castle and Webster Shaner had to hav e a geneaolgy prepared to prove descent. But then he found out that the castle was ruins with high taxes. Does this sound familiar to anyone? My grandfathers first wife (Pearl)_ burned the genealogy. 3 years ago i had all my top teeth pulled and a plate made. the denture plate was made before the surgery. during the removal, more skin and bone was taken off than anticipated. the plate did not fit right and the dentist advised that to make a new one would cost me over 1,000.00 dollars. i complained to no avail. now you cannot even tell that i have top teeth and the plate cuts into the skin under my nose. i am going to get a second opinion on this but, wanted some input. i think the imprint for the plate should have been made after the surgery...not before. what should i do?
