Seagate Momentus XT worth it?

Because its a hybrid SSD/7200RPM conventional drive, it's new on the market and not all the bugs have been worked out especially the transition from RPM's to SSD so there are failures...apparently with in 6-10 months. For any hard drive that's too short. Even full SSD seem to be having a problem with short life spans. Your best bet is a 7200 RPM conventional drive at SATA 6GT/s (if your machine can take it) till all the bugs are worked out of the Hybrid and SSD's
