What should I do about my Pets? I am moving out of state!Help!?

I am moving from California To Texas and will probably go by plane.I will probably be able to take my chihuahua along with me. But I also own a atiel about 3yrs old and a tarantula older than 4. I love these guys, but the smaller apartment that my family from California has moved into does not allow pets! Otherwise I would gladly take the trip back for them once I get Settled. In fact If I could just take them on the plane with me but I am being told that its probably not a good idea for the bird, and the Tarantula Im just guessing they wont let me take either? I wold sacrifice them to a caring neighbor but I don't have anybody that I trust to adopt them. Any recommendations please?
