Christians, If the bible is true and God loves us all, then why did he never show himself to the Americas?

All the people living in the now North and South America had no clue about this God who loves them so much. Not until the settlers came and tried to convert them. But if we are to believe the Bible, these people went strait to hell without even knowing that this God or Jesus ever existed. How would an all powerful God who loves his children not give a chance for these people.
