I have a 2000 V6 camaro, anyone ever made a cold air intake for one?? if so how?

I have already removed my cat and installed magna flow dual exhuast on my V6 camaro but I want more trottle response and horse power without buying an exspensive cold air intake kit ive seen u can make the kits at auto shops with elbows and stuff. as anyone ever done this on a camaro?? if so please tell me how you did it.
