Is intangible "Support the Troops" rhetoric a way to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

For most of us, it is more than just saying it. I thank every one I see, and if I see they have a need, and I have the resources, I try to take care of them. It's funny how the liberal left including John Edwards wants to turn everything into politics, and now every word uttered is a bumper sticker. That's why he and his supporters were only the second best Democrat in 2004 and still lost to Bush.
